Chapter 2

-You must have a main message that is clear in your front page. Organization can help with finding the site's main focus on communication. It also has to tell your audience where they can find what it is your site is communicating.
-Sort your site's information in a way that makes sense and how people can expect it to behave. You need to tell the audience what is in each category by describing the title or link appropriately.
-Using labels is fine as long as your audience knows what you're talking about. You need to use links/labels in phrases or words that are understandable to them. Your site must also be able to support direct connection to what the viewer wants and also allow easy browsing.
-When planning for a site, you should keep in mind that the navigation should not take up the most space on the page. It is just there to guide the user, and you don't want to have the navigation to take way from the main space, nor do you want it to clutter your site.
-Visual communication can describe the personality of the site and the author of the site the quickest. You can also see it in the content and organization. Other personality setters for the site are navigation and colors. Everything is key and works together to create the personality of the site.
